You know we should really start running government like a business.

United Airlines
Crappy Tire

It just makes sense!

Canadian Tire worker who threw out Indigenous man accused of theft no longer an employee

A Canadian Tire employee seen getting physical with an Indigenous customer refusing to leave a store in Regina is no longer with the company, a spokesperson says.

"The employee involved in the matter has not been working in the store since the time of the incident and he is no longer with Canadian Tire," said Joscelyn Dosanjh, the company's manager of corporate communications, in an emailed statement to CBC News Saturday.

Dosanjh did not specify the circumstances around the employee's departure and whether the employee resigned or was fired.

Videotaped tussle

Kamao Cappo, an Indigenous elder, said he was shopping for a chainsaw when the employee accused him of stealing.

Cappo disagreed and refused to leave the store. He posted two videos to social media that show the exchange with the worker growing increasingly heated.

At one point, the employee is seen pushing Cappo up against a shelf. He then pushed him toward the exit, with Cappo sliding on his feet.

"We have attempted to reach Mr. Cappo again this morning to express our sincere apologies. We wish to again state that we have taken this matter very seriously," Dosanjh's statement read.

They should actually have promoted the worker and prosecuted the customer for stealing.

Or am I just talking too much common sense for this day and age?

I agree. We should be able to fire them when they turn out to be useless, incompetent f*cks before having to wait 4 years.

Oh I'm sure conbots will love the additional costs of doing that.

They should actually have promoted the worker and prosecuted the customer for stealing.

Or am I just talking too much common sense for this day and age?

Convicting someone of a crime they didn't commit makes perfect sense.

You are extremely sensible.

When a white man is killed by the police he is nothing but a law-breaking thug who deserved everything he got.

When a black man is killed by police in America or London (as was the case with Mark Duggan in 2011 or, in recent days, with Rashan Charles) he is portrayed as a lovely, kind, gentle man who helped old ladies cross the road, would never hurt a fly and was always law-abiding, and that the police merely shot him dead just because he was black (the fact that Duggan was a gun-toting drug dealer was conveniently ignored) and we have rioting in the streets by his lovely, kind, law-abiding friends.

When a shop worker catches a white person attempting to shoplift and attempts them from doing so, the shop worker is portrayed as a hero catching thieving scum in the act.

When a shop worker catches a Red Indian attempting to shoplift, the shop worker is sacked and the thieving Red Indian is lauded as some sort of put-upon victim because, of course, having red skin, wearing feathers on your head, worshipping animal spirits and living in a grass tent puts you above the law and nobody is allowed to stop you stealing.

When Blackleaf is angry, he makes a whole bunch of assumptive statements because he can't handle the fact that he is wrong.

No, you're wrong.

The guy was fired.

He didn't do his job properly and there were no charges pressed because no offence was committed.

But in your case, we already know one can't fix stupid.
