I ask: why do we need a new LIE-beral carbon crap and trade program modeled on the totally disgraced European model if the air has already been much improved-as LIE-beral claims? The European crap and trade model is a proven job killer and is being exploited shamelessly by organized crime and crooked stock traders and bankrupt govts. LIE-beral will not respond to these serious criminal issues! Nor will LIE-beral comment on the fact that European crap and trade HAS NOT cleared the air-it has ONLY emptied peoples wallets!
LIE-berals state that they must sell off Hydro to `private` investors-read friends of LIE-beral party-so they will have cash to invest in transit. LIE-berals cannot tell us why it will be better for us to be gouged by a private corporation (more LIE-beral friends) seeking MAJOR PROFITS for their shareholders. LIE-beral party doesn’t have share holders as such-they simply have civil service Hogs with endless lists of entitlements that LIE-berals must satisfy or lose key supporters.
I also ask WHY LIE-berals are determined to completely CLOSE Hydro books to public scrutiny forever, even though the public will continue to own part of Hydro. What are LIE-berals HIDING in those books? I also point out that the money raised so far from Hydro sale has been ONLY used to repair existing transit-which has been LONG neglected. There will be NO NEW money for transit UNLESS the price of electricity is allowed to skyrocket even faster than it has recently done-the LIE-beral transit funding `gifts` from the Hydro sale are TOTALLY inadequate to construct a single new subway line, NOR an LRT! In the past whenever LIE-berals had to chose between transit repairs and more gravy they ALWAYS chose gravy and this is why our infrastructure is in such a parlous state!
I also point out the LIE-berals depend almost exclusively on Working Family civil service Hogs vote. Of every batch of one hundred Cdns- roughly 55 DON’T VOTE-that leaves 45 Cdns who do vote and LIE-berals recently got roughly 30 votes out of every 45 votes cast-to complete the circle-ONE employed CDN in three is a civil servant. This math-presented in greater detail recently by The Fraser Institute- confirms that virtually NO Cdn of the private sector will vote LIE-beral.
LIE-berals are painfully aware that voter turnout JUMPED by nearly 50 percent when Rob Ford ran for mayor and they are also aware that Mike Harris got the single largest mandate ever offered an Ontari-owe premier when he ran for his second term.
I say: LIE-berals live in terror of the silent majority of Cdns-the ones who do not normally vote and this is why so much of LIE-beral business is done in secret. It took police investigations to gather public information about the gas plants, about ORNGE and E-health and the shameless MARS building deal. It took relentless pressure from auditors and freedom of information requests from news media such as Toronto Sun and from people such as Kevin O`Leary to discover gross salaries paid to Hogs for `work` on Pan AM Games and disgusting bonuses paid out for starting up a made in Otari-owe pension fund. And now LIE-berals demand that we trust then when they say their Crap and trade plan is NOT simply a HUGE cash grab! They say “ TRUST US” in spite of currently dealing with FIVE separate police investigations and in spite of their plan NOT to show us on Hydro bills what crap and trade is really costing US for heating and lighting our homes!
Lie-beral says that the air is cleaner in Ontari-owe thanks to LIE-beral green energy policy.
I say that traditionally about 50 percent of air pollution in southern Ontari-owe has blown in from the United States/Ohio valley and the 2008 mortgage meltdown and globalization has turned much of the Ohio valley into a rust belt where nothing-not even air pollution is produced-thus reducing the amount of pollution blowing our way. Thus LIE-berals now falsely want to claim credit for destroying United States heavy industries-and reducing that pollution! And LIE-berals do not want to discuss the destruction of Ontari-owe heavy industries in an honest way either-they think it’s a virtue to drive away jobs with high taxes and huge energy costs. Hog gravy trumps all other needs!
I say that as proof that LIE-beral taxes and energy costs are too high I point to the assorted grants and easy `loans` and reduced tax programs that LIE-berals routinely offer to any company that might set up shop here. But business will not come-they know of the standard LIE-beral `BAIT AND SWITCH` policy. Business leaders know that the grants and loans and low taxes will be shut off in a few years and they then will be faced with the standard LIE-beral tax regime-which they cannot afford!
LIE-beral says: This improvement in air quality has been reflected in the improved health of the province's millions of children and adults with the drop in asthma and other respiratory ailments.
I say: that`s nice that people are breathing easier but we COULD have achieved the same results by cutting back on Hog salaries and pensions! I have quoted respected media sources that clearly indicate that we can clear the air by cutting back on the number of Hogs on airplanes. In the 9 months after the 9/11terror attack, 25 percent all airliners were grounded and this produced MEASURABLE improvements in air quality across the planet!
I also say its nice that people can breath easier, but lets talk about the mental health of this province where unemployment, stagnating wages, soaring taxes and routine failure of basic govt services are making people crazy! Then add in the stress on home life as people struggle with the anger and frustration of seeing LIE-berals smugly DENY any responsibility for creating our troubles!
Talk to condo owners in Toronto about their repeated electrical failures caused mainly by LIE-beral failure to replace aging transformers and such-Hog gravy is CLEARLY more important than keeping the power on!
Talk about health issues suffered by people stuck in endless gridlock; or those who are riding ancient busses and subway cars lacking air conditioning and who are too often stranded some place as aging TTC equipment FAILS. Talk to TTC heads about WHY Bombardier has not yet delivered subway cars as contracted and then ask if the several hundred million dollars given by LIE-berals to Toronto was a BRIBE to shut them up and stop threatening a lawsuit against Bombardier-based in LIE-beral friendly Quebec. TTC has been talking about a down town relief line for decades-but it will NOT be built because Socialist Silly Hall DOES NOT HAVE the money needed to fund the LIE-beral gravy train-with NO money left for a TTC relief line!
Talk to condo owners and home owners whose houses have been flooded with raw sewage because LIE-berals spend WAY MORE money on gravy than they do in repairing our infrastructure! And talk to all the people whose lives have been messed with and hugely delayed by flooded and washed out roads because hog gravy is more important than dealing with inadequate and aging storm water handling facilities. Ask how people feel about finding hundreds of gallons of formerly clean drinking water flooding their homes from water pipes that LIE-berals KNEW were rotten-and did nothing about! Good gravy is COSTLY!

And its not as if govt is helpless about that-the three big concrete structures on the east side of DVP north of Bloor Viaduct were constructed SPECIFICALLY to prove how waste water could be cleaned up-cheap and easy! Its all related to Portlands activity-Silly Hall spent a BILLION DOLLARS on the proposed Ataratiri affordable housing mess and then discovered the land was too toxic to build on-so they were going to switch the Portlands back to being marshland that would filter dirty water in the same way as the concrete `teeth` near DVP-but now I hear Jackass John the Sorry Tory has some grand and unaffordable to build shops and housing on the site. More noise from the guy who talks a great fight and does nothing!

Boris was going through his morning routine when he walked into his kitchen a little before 7 a.m. Friday, his radio tuned to NEWSTALK 1010. He heard a man in conversation with host John Moore talking about Ontario's energy system.
"I was surprised you were giving this person so much time because they didn't know what they were talking about," Boris later told Moore in the Morning.
He was stunned to learn he had been listening to the man hoping to unseat to Liberals next year: Progressive Conservative leader Patrick Brown.
Another listener, Steve, also joined the interview mid-way.
"I was saying to myself ' oh gosh, please don't let this be Patrick Brown, please don't let this be Patrick Brown'. At some point in time someone in opposition has to get their act together. This is getting actually scary for me as a voter."
Moore in the Morning panelist Michael Taube, a former speech writer for Prime Minister Stephen Harper, was even more direct Friday.
"That was an unmitigated disaster," Taube said. "That was just a bad performance over all. He should have been ready for something like that. He should have been able to answer...on the fly."
"(It) sounded like you got him out of the shower, like he didn't know the call was coming," quipped National Post columnist Christie Blatchford.

Progressive Conservative leader Patrick Brown says his party will soon be having its own hydro announcement that will 'detail fixes' to skyrocketing rates.
"I really believe the Liberal Hydro plan fell short," Brown said. "$1.4 billion in interest. We're paying to make up for mistakes that continue to be committed. We're borrowing money to make up for bad contracts."
The Simcoe North MPP was in Barrie Friday for Hockey Helps the Homeless and took questions from local media via conference call about his plan to relieve Hydro rates.
"Very shortly we will be having our own Hydro announcement," he said offering no specifics on timing.
