Rihanna wants you to call Justin Trudeau to support global aid

It’s not everyday a superstar musician like Rihanna tweets about the Canadian prime minister. Today, however, was different.
The superstar wants her fans to get to work work work work work and call the PM to boost Canada's funding for foreign health and and education programs. It may seem a little unusual for the Barbados-native to be tweeting about the Canadian leader, however both are involved with Global Citizen, an global advocacy group that deals with poverty and diseases.
Wondering what #GCFestival is? That stands for Global Citizen and this is what their website has to say:
“The Trudeau government has boldly declared that Canada “is back”. In keeping with this statement, Canadian Minister of International Development Marie-Claude Bibeau is asking interested citizens for their thoughts on how Canada should manage its foreign aid program. We have some ideas. We’ve asked the Canadian government to increase its aid budget, particularly for health and education and now we need you to call Canadian leaders and tell them why!”
