CCTV footage released in anti-Syrian, anti-Trudeau graffiti spree

Calgary police have released CCTV footage and are asking the public for help in identifying suspects in several cases of school graffiti that involved messages urging readers to "kill" the prime minister and telling Syrian refugees to "go home and die."

"The Calgary Police Service takes the anti-Syrian and anti-Trudeau references seriously and is investigating accordingly," police said in a statement, adding that the incidents are being investigated as hate crimes.

The series of incidents occurred at two schools and a community rink in the southeast community of Queensland.

The first case of hateful graffiti was found on Feb. 14 when a passerby noticed the anti-Syrian and anti-Trudeau messages scrawled in black paint on Wilma Hansen Junior High School.

Police released this security-camera video of that incident:

That's true.

But it's good to reveal this kind of anti-human behaviour anyway.

Funny you should say that, since it so closely resembles the little tidbits of stupid you install at the top of your threads, like, kick old people out of the country.

Riiight. When someone says "kill Trudeau" it's anti-human behavior and a hate crime. When someone actually tried to shoot up Parliament Hill when Harper was in power it was "Nothing to see here. Just a drug-addicted, mentally ill lone wolf".

By the way, telling someone to go home and die is NOT a crime, no matter how badly Libtards want it to be.

So, are you saying that what was done in Queensland was/is not a crime?
Graffiti tagging, "Kill Trudeau" could certainly be considered a crime.
Graffiti saying "go home and die"? Sorry but it's not. At most, it's a misdemeanor for vandalism.
If telling someone to go somewhere and die is a crime, then I'm a bad, bad man who should be charged for the number of times I've either told people to "f*ck off and die" or "eat sh*t and die". At most, it's a misdemeanor for vandalism when it's graffiti tagged on something.

Then it's a crime. The fact that it is pointed at a specific group could possibly add the "hate" to that crime.

BTW, Canada does not have "misdemeanors", that is an American thing.

Wouldn't a 'Canadian' say 'go home or die' rather than go home and die which is backward english? 'Go away and then start running' is an example. Somebody check bloomers log

Of course, no one bothered to read that this is about more than one incident.

Right, we have summary and indictable offenses. And graffiti doesn't fall into either category. Neither does telling someone to go home. Take a look at the lists of summary and indictable offences. Good luck finding graffiti on the list, it's not a crime. Good luck finding that suggesting someone "go home and die" is an offence.

So you'll see, telling Syrians to go home and die isn't a crime. Saying "kill Trudeau" certainly would be, as I said it was previously.

Pfffffb. Real hate crimes happen in the hundreds everyday but if you mention it and who is targeting whom you're a racist.
