Don't we have another topic on C-51?

Also Trudeau closed door on provinces and railroaded in his rights & freedoms. That is why Quebec never signed.

The Charter of Rights and Freedoms has a clause in it that allows Parliament to ignore the rights and freedoms in it. Going against the spirit of the charter is entirely within the letter of the charter.

The Government has ignored the Charter, ever since it was passed. Whenever they wish, they simply ignore it.

In the Charter, Indians, Inuits and Metis are SPECIFICALLY recognized as Aboriginal peoples of Canada. Yet the government, whether Liberal or Conservative, has refused to honor that provision, and refuses to recognize the rights of those peoples.

To this day, the Federal Government decides who is, and who is NOT an Indian or an Inuit. They refuse to even recognize that Metis people have any rights at all.

The Supreme Court of Canada effectively terminated the two treaties that ended the American Revolution and the War of 1812. The held that the rights guaranteed to Indians in BOTH of those treaties were utterly meaningless.

So why on earth are some people all worried about Bill C-51? This simply follows the examples set by every previous government of Canada.

So far as I can tell bill C51 would have zero effect on the average citizen. Criminals and the extreme left might not fair quite so well. So what is there to fear? After all this is coming from the government that saved us from the repulsive and repressive long gun registry.

The crazy thing is Justin supports Harpercon's C-51 bill. Disgrace to his father, he would be disowned.

Oh, no! Our only alternative is those commie NDPers. I would love to see that, capitalists fainting all over the country. What a joyful day that would be.

Well, truth be told, I have no faith at all in politics whatsoever. It is there for entertainment purposes and an NDP government would be great entertainment for a while, until the ruling elite and their mouth piece, the media character assassinated the whole lot of them and Canadians would suck it up like every time before. Something about democracy turns people into political morons.

I know, it would be hard for those of you who live off the avails (resources) that will deprive future generations of fresh air and water, depriving them of any chance of a future. The rapers an pillagers of the Earth's resources would suffer greatly.... how ridiculous. Clowns like you blame tree huggers for the decline of the forest industry and ignore the fact that all the easily accessible trees are gone from over logging and what is left is just pecker poles suitable only for pulp. Lumber yards are selling what we used to buy as reject as #1 & 2s. Open your eyes. You are the problem.

... But you living off the 'resources' of the land, polluting the water and shooting any of the critters you 'invite' for a BBQ is different, right?

You really are an ignorant twit. You think that digging a hole for an outhouse equates to open pit mining. You equate chipping a few stone to make arrow heads with mining. You think driving a car is equivalent to a gas plant spewing out tons of toxins a day.

What a pile of horseshyte. ****ing "Indians" don't recognize "Metis". The majority of them don't recognize anyone beyond "pure bloods". THEY are as bad or worse than the government. A bunch of racist a$$holes.
