2015; Does Stephen Harper and the Conservatives deserve another chance?

Canadian federal election time is here and we as voters have to decide if we want another four years Conservatives promises.

Is it time for new leadership and a new party?

Did the Conservatives pass better laws to improve the Canadian quality of life or did they weaken the hard fought rights of the people of this great land.

What do you think?

NO f U C K I N G W A Y Really, anybody that would vote tory now is either a serious zealot, blind, deaf and stupid. All politicians embellish "facts" and weasel around questions, but this bunch has told more out and out lies than any I've seen, and I've seen a few.

No. Yes. No. Yes.

There is currently no credible alternative to the federal Conservatives. One can only hope that Conservative supporters finally wake up, realize and accept what a pisspoor job Harper is doing and punt his azz. I see little hope of that occurring if their supporters here are any indication.

Well being as there is no viable alternative that would be a YES. Preferably majority. There is still a long way to go to repair all the damage done to the economy by many years of socialist governments.

Stop being such a silly drama queen. Canada is one of the greatest places to live in spite of "many years of socialist governments". If you're unhappy, look no further than your own mirror.

Oops, looks like Wally is mad. I can only assume that he doesn't like my claim that the Liberals are not a viable alternative

Mulcair wants to bring back the registry, and Pierre with hair says he won't but his is willing to consider 'classification'. How could classificatio be anything but a selective ban on any firearm that looks sinister enough to ban?

No gov't ever "deserves" another chance.

Nor does Harper's gov't. Mandatory sentencing, an idiotic "war on drugs", "temporary" foreign workers, Julian Fantino and the veterans............dammit there are a dozen reasons to throw them out.

Then look across the floor. There are several dozen reasons not to vote in Idiot Boy Trudeau or Mulcair.

Harper's Conservatives are simply the best offered. By a long shot.

We need a PM who cares for ALL Canadians - not just investors, bigger business or Unions. Polarize? You get dissent....
I don't want a PM to "care", I want him to govern in the best interests of Canada.

Why do governments need to pass more laws ? Do we not have enough already ?
Do you not think it would be better for the country as a whole if the elected government
spent more time controlling the finances of this country rather than its citizens ?

Some of the best laws created were passed by the harper government.

You remember the trustfund scheme that Paul Martin set up with corporations and pension funds?

It was the CPC that squashed it,and they did it against the wishes of some of their corporate supporters.

They basically said ' Sorry folks, if we let this exist, there will be 2 types of corporations in Canada. Ones that pay taxes, and another that doesn't pay taxes'

And you know what? They were right. Damn right!

You know what the Lieberals and NDippers did? They criticized the CPC.
