Mike Duffy's trial is starting in April and the Conservative dirty laundry will be seen by all Canadians from coast to coast to coast.

Like The Gomery Commission hearing that ripped the Liberals out of government.

The Mike Duffy Trial will do the same to the Conservatives.

The PMO has no choice but to call the election before the trial.

I think we could see a snap call for April or early May. The reason the trial is
in the procedure stage and that would do no harm. The question does the
pubic care about Duffy. likely not but the other characters will defend themselves
and people do care what they say. What falls out of the closet is harmful to the
Tories and they don't want to play with the marbles that might be available.
I have been wondering with the silence what's coming this weekend they did
announce they are overhauling the budget that was to be handed down.
My guess is they might do an end around. Bring in an unpopular budget for the
opposition and let them bring down the government over it. Of course not
having enough members in the House. If they wait till fall the oil budget and the
Duffy Trial could lead to a loss at the polls.
I hope the wait they'll be easier to attack as I for one want this government to fall

That would only work if they had a minority. Since they have a majority, the opposition could not bring down the government. Also if you do that, you want to bring a popular budget so good that the opposition will be forced not to support it and then you go to an election over that. Wynn did that in Ontario buying fool's votes with their own money.

I'm not in favour of replacing the present management of Canada at this time. In time of war it is best to have equipment we're used to. If we are to credit the security agencies we must give the sitting members the riens. The nation may have to be ridden hard to repell the Islamic Invasion hordes.
