Whitby-Oshawa is a horserace!!
With 121 out of 280 polls reporting, the Conservatives lead the Liberals by 48.4% to 42.3%.

Out in Yellowhead, Alberta, with 150 out of 284 polls counted, it is all over but the crying. As expected the Conservatives have elected their man with 65.2% to the Liberals 17.1%

Interesting.

In Whitby-Oshawa, the Conservatives won with 49.2% of the vote, with the Liberals at 40.7%.

Obviously, the Liberals did not do as well as they hoped in this riding. In the end, it wasn't even close.

In Yellowhead, the Conservatives won with 64.2% of the vote........no surprise.

The Conservatives can not read too much into these results as these were both strong Conservative ridings.

IMHO the only significant news from this was the NDP.....who failed to break 10% in either riding.

Thats another thing which is no surprise for these ridings.

They did a lot better than in 2011. In that election the Liberals only got 7% and the NDP 37%. Still, even combined they would have still lost.

Meaning the lefties went from extreme left to far left.

Didn't Justine personally visit that riding several times?
Impossible. The Libs would have won if Turdoh visited numerous times.

D'oh! I just checked, Turdoh did visit the Shwa numerous times. Who will be my hero now? Oh woe is me.

Yeah....it was like Justin had written a little blurb to deliver WHEN they won the riding......but they didn't......but Justin delivered his victory lines anyway.

What an absolutely narcissistic twit.

God forbid this imbecile ever become PM.

I mean, it wasn't even very close.

The NDP vote collapsed in the riding, when compared to 2011. That is worrisome for the Conservatives, as all of those votes seemed to go to the Liberals.

I guess if you are simple enough to support the socialists, you are simple enough to be taken in by Justin.

A shame really. Intellectually, and morally, Mulcair stands head and shoulders over Justin
