I noticed on my monthly telephone bill from Telus, they had been charging me some months for a bogus
"$2.95 LD Network Access Charge"
I do not use Telus as my long distance telephone provider. And I have not made any LD calls with Telus for several years, I use a cheaper LD provider.
So I called Telus ten minutes ago at 604 310-2255, and got an operator who gave me a retroactive rebate of $30. She said it was done for "customer satisfaction". Works for me.
Check your bill and make the call to save some money. Don't let the telco dinosaur take your money so easily.
