Canadian Government at work in the House of Commons??
Picture worth a Trillion Words.

The earth sings to those who listen.

House Minority Leader pictured, standing far right speaks while colleagues play solitaire Monday night as the House convened to vote on a new budget. (AP)

The guy sitting in the row infront of these two is on facebook, and the guy behind Hennessy is checking out baseball scores.

These are the guys that couldn't get the budget out by Oct 1., and are about to control your health care, cap and trade, and the list goes on.......

Should we buy them larger screen computers - or - a ticket home, permanently?

Our tax dollars at work, aren't you proud.

This is one of their 3-day work weeks that we all pay for (salary is around $179,000 per year).

This is what happens when MPs are turned into `yes men` for their parties. They just have to vote and their votes are a forgone conclusion.

I think he meant the voters for the minority party would be quite upset they aren't getting the bang for their buck so to speak. And in an indirect way, the rest of us aren't either. The putzes are jacking around instead of working.

I think that's a Photoshop'd pic, because if MPs were really sitting in the house with laptops they'd either be:

1) Messaging members of their own party on how to respond if something important is being spoken,

or

2) Playing WoW against members of the opposition if nothing important is being said.

The OP is a bit misleading

This is not the House of Commons.....

I'm sure if you were diligent, you would find that every MP has been diddlin' the dog at one time or another.
