Liberal committee member Navdeep Bains said Wednesday that given the government’s reputation for secrecy, it is well possible that she was being pressured from above to dismiss sensitive cases.
Nothing new here. We need to change government and start putting things back on an even keel.

Did any of you bother to read the portion of this article that said that this office is independent, and NOT under the control of the Prime Minister?

So, if she did choose to not do her job, how on earth do you blame the PM? And, since she is not retired, there is absolutely nothing that can be done to her either (unless you could prove CRIMINAL LIABILITY, which is highly unlikely).

The only thing that this can be is a political witch hunt. As usual!
