I found this video very impressive. I sent it to a number of people who all wrote back saying how impressive they also found it. I was hesitant to add it to these forums but will give it a try hoping that it gets the good reviews it should. It's not just about the RCMP. It's about each country respecting each others police forces. It's about people caring about people and honouring the fallen.

The Seattle commentators gave a great boost to Canada's image towards the US in this TV report. This was for the 4 officers who died recently in a cafe.. Although a part of the discussion here was about police worldwide and who pays, it was noted how impressive the Canadian presence was..
