Say, I hope some members would have some good advise here.
My buddies and I went to Number 5 Orange in Vancouver, after that we went to a bar called the Savoy on Hastings (cheaper beer).
There was this girl dancing very provocative. She was with a bunch of gang members.
My buddies and I got up to leave and get something to eat, rather than have a problem. However, the bar tender tossed the girl out saying she was under age (15 years old) and not to bring her back. Well, she wasnt with us to begin with, but seemed to think she was.
We cross the street and had some Pizza. Later that girl cam over crying saying she was being forced to stay with the gang members, and if she left they threatened to kill her parents. I think she was high, at least that what my friends said.
I was going to call the cops, but they told me that they could not do anything, anyhow. Now I feel really guilty that I didn't..
I went to the Covenant House to see if they could send someone to pick her up, but they said "no can do" and because she is doing drugs she would not be allowed to stay there anyhow. They provided a number of a place where she could get help. But only if she wanted it...
I did go online and search Google for "Vancouver Missing Teens" and found this link....

She does look like the Odjick girl.
Maybe I over reacted, but I notified the police of an underage youth, possibly being forced into protitution who looks like Odkick, but was told it was not her.
So my question is, what can, if anything, be done to help under age teens in Canada?? ...and this young girl??
Why is there no laws in place to protect "children" from being exploited by preditors, drug dealer, pimps in Canada...
Why are the Vancouver Police so dam apathetic and uncaring?? The officer that called me twice bacically cut me off when I tried to explain what this girl said and looked like.
I spoke to a Police officer on Hastings, he said; "so you want to help this one girl, what about the other 100 or so?"
44 years old, can't have children of my own, but if that was my daughter, that would be one dead pimp. :angryfire:
Case No. VA09168332
I guess what it comes down to, if a saw a dog being kicked and beaten I could call the Animal Shelter and the dog would be picked up and cared for...
But when it comes to Canada's youth, the dog gets better treatment. Oh Canada!!
