Hello.

I have searched some jobs according to what I know, I have seen that I can earn more or less 60K.

The question is, how taxes work, If I get paid monthly 5.000, how much the company will discount me for health insurance, and other government stuff?

thanks!!

taxes are high in canada, but that's why the standard of living is so good. The health insurance system is excellent. you pay insurance from your earnings and any trip to hospital is paid for automatically. Most prescriptions are paid for and some things are partially covered. There are a few things you still have to pay for yourself but it depends on which insurance you have. There are two "health insurances". one which is mandatory which covers the basics and the other which depends on who you work for which (hopefully) covers the rest. One of the things to look into when getting a job in canada is what company does their health insurance and what type of stuff do they cover?

I'm not sure of the exact numbers, though
