Distribution of power in the society

Hi everybody, I'm a french student studying the Canadian society for a project of opening.

I'd like to know what you think about the distributions of the power in the Canadian Society :

* Between genders in a first time : Are woman as well considered and integrated as men at work? What do you think about relationships between a hierarchical higher woman and male employees? And vice versa?...

* At work between employees and superiors in the hierarchy : Is your hierarchy model quite flat with easy communications between boss and employees? Are they at an equal level? How do you consider the distance to power for each of them? ...

In say, Nursing which is dominated by women ,males are accepted but watched like hawks in the beginning


In the work place in general ,depends on the occupation and the role history of the company and many factors
