The Mounties have taken a lot of kicks in recent years. Many are self inflicted. But there is a huge reservoir of respect for Canada’s National Police force. And I was honoured to chat with a BC based RCMP corporal who has given the uniform the kind of respect it richly deserves. He took it to an iced over pond in beautiful British Columbia country side. He also took a hockey stick and used it to take a shot on net. While doing it he had a friend take a shot with his camera. The result was an iconic photo that went viral in recent days. I was honoured and proud and to talk the man behind the picture, Corporal Shaun Begg.
