Electric chainsaw

Used an electric chainsaw for the first time this week. Worked great on anything under 16" diameter. Best buy I've made for yard tools in a while. Wouldn't be much good in the bush, though, no outlets.

I've used a cordless electric pole saw of my Brother-in-Law's. Awesome toy.
Made an ugly job pretty simple in the end with selective tree pruning where a
tree grew through the power & phone lines above my garage.

Gracious, Walter. We finally have something on which we agree. I've used an electric chainsaw for a couple of years and purchased a hundred meters of industrial extension cord to go with it. It enables me to clear out most of the deadwood on the hectare of so of woodland near my house.
