The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) is pleased to announce that Kahente Horn-Miller will be the new Coordinator for the Kahnawà:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (LCC), which is the body that administers the Community Decision Making Process.

“We are extremely pleased that Kahente has agreed to take on this significant challenge,” said Chief Mike Bush. “She is the most capable of a number of very good candidates, and brings a high level of education, knowledge and passion to the position. Additionally, on behalf of all of us on the LCC, I’d like to acknowledge Linda’s hard work and dedication during these transitional times and wish her all the best.”
Since 2009, Kahnawà:ke laws are proposed; debated; and passed via the Community Decision Making Process.
