Can't this spam be stopped?

it's getting crazy.. 20 posts, 5 topics.. all on spam. can't it be prevented?

Yeah.... It can be - if new posters are subject to moderation. Saves using that neat tool to ferret them out after the fact too....

The moderate new users tool is mostly to be used on closed private forums. If someone has less than a certain number of posts, their posts are always passed through an anti-spam service. Everytime their posts are deleted from now on, they are also reported to this service.
