I tripped over one cache a little while ago. Someone sweeped it under the rug in the "Windows" section on the hard drive. 
I think I saw one peeking out from behind the door over at Documents & Settings, too.

Found it. Strange that firefox wasn't allowing me to delete my cache! Issue solved. If anyone sees very tiny avatars, just clear your cache.
