Apparently, I messed up some javascript a couple of weeks ago which made the messenger not work in Internet Explorer. Since I only test the site from time to time on IE, I only just noticed. Anyhow, it was very buggy to say the least and I've been thinking of whether I should ditch it or keep with it. The former was decided.

Anyways, from the looks of it, very few firefox users were interested enough to use it, so the point of keeping it up and slowing down the site loads leaves me with no question.

I hope nobody is pissed it's gone, but nobody even mentioned it wasn't working in IE for the past two weeks so I doubt it

Haven't used IE for a long time. Didn't notice a thing. (Well, except yesterday with the glitch about posts being too short)

I never used it myself, but on the bottom left hand corner was a neat tab for quick return to home page....

Oh good point about the return to forum home! I'll keep that in mind.

I kinda liked it.

O got to talk to a few cool people in it from time to time...

I liked it too. But most didn't use it and the trade-off for speed and bugs wasn't worth it.
