There's been some confusion about how to add a friend if they have a private profile. To get around this, you also have the option to add somebody as a friend from a) within a thread and b) within your control panel.
For A:
- Goto a thread, click their username and a popup box should come up. Simply click "Add this user to buddy list"
For B:
- Click on "Settings"
- Goto
My Friends
- In your friends list, type in the users nickname in the "Add New User to List" box and click "Save List".
In both situations, the person you are adding should either accept or decline your request.
