Why do the conservatives get their very own shiny lounge to sit and drink martinis in? (Do conservatives drink martinis? Are they good? I've never had a martini before.) Why not give us left-wingers (or "liberals," if you will) our very own shiny lounge to sit and drink martinis in? (And to discuss liberal issues, of course. Since according to the conservatives, we do have a lot of "issues" to work on, haha.) :)

Just a thought; could there be a Liberal Lounge, too?

Never been in the Conservative lounge, because it's the Conservative lounge :x

If they are in there, grouped together, planning the demise of the Canada Health Act, Old Age Pension, Happiness, etc., then at least they are not out here trying to cram their bullshit down our throats

Did I mention I didnt vote Conservative. :?: :?:

We don't have to plan the demise of the health care act....Liberals destroyed health care all by themselves!

There was, once upon a time, and it didn't take off, hardly anybody posted anything in it, they just kept posting everywhere else. I think the general feeling was that the Liberal Lounge was really the whole site, liberals being a majority of posters here as well as a majority in real life . There were also some flaming lefties around at the time and a lot of people of a more rightist persuasion were feeling unwelcome. The Conservative Lounge appears to have kept them around. I wouldn't call myself conservative on most issues, but I visit it fairly often; it's always useful to pay attention to thoughtful people who don't agree with you.

Edited to add: Some of them are delusional, of course, but the right has no lock on that. Consider some of the New Age crap that comes out of the left...

There _WAS_ a Liberal Lounge that gathered three threads in 4 weeks and then eventually gathered 10cm of dust. Most people just use the regular political discussion forums as the conservatives are a minority on this forum.
