To be eligible to run for the Board of Directors, the three month membership requirement means three months in good standing. Anyone with a ban during that time (including a 24 hour ban) is ineligibile to sit on the board. We have a list of all bans during that time and will compare all nominations against it before putting them forward for vote.
Eligibility
All members of the Canadian Content community who have at least 100 posts and have held membership for at least three months are eligible to both vote and run for the Board of Directors.
Moderators cannot sit on the Board of Directors, and must resign as moderators should they decide to run, but their Moderator positions will be held for them until the end of the election or, should they be elected, until such time as they leave the Board of Directors.
