I researched a bit, the legislation to allow them to declare is somewhere in the works or was last fall. Being insolvent they can only dream.about going bankrupt

It's a small, out of the way modern Anglo-Western society where if something doesn't work it's easy to backtrack until it's right before unleashing it upon the big Anglo-Western societies.

For example, NZ's telecommunications are always bleeding-edge state-of-the-art.

The big Telco's roll out their hottest new stuff there first in order to measure the market impact and to gauge popular acceptance and to find bugs.

When it passes the NZ test, then it's rolled out to the larger members of Echelon.

Likewise, sociopolitical experiments are done there too, such that it was found that even though NZ had the highest percentage of PHd's of any among the modern Western-Anglo tradition, they still let 20-something fat boobs be appointed minister of medicine to fume with his fat red lips before a camera about how it's not a "right" to have life-long health-care (of course it's not, but that's the whole thing about being human... we can organize to *make* that a right).

After NZ was brought down without a whimper, it was unleashed upon Canada and Australia.

No state is "Bankrupt", not one. In order to be "bankrupt", they would have to be unable to repay debts, and be adjudged by a Court to be "bankrupt". Since all States have the power, and the authority, to raise taxes, and to do whatever is necessary to get adequate meoney to pay their bills, they can not be "bankrupt".

Nothing like exaggeration or Pure bullsh*t to liven up a debate and get people thinking. You just don't want to over react to the bullsh*t, there are always those who like to "stir things up", without using a single brain cell!

One funny thing I noticed, most of the "bankrupt" states are the most industrialized. First I knew of the Virgin Islands being a State. That just takes away any credibility!

They have to feel like the other side lost.

Guys like that are perfect in forces. Why let them run through government and the economy, frustrated and angry with the incomprehensible reaction they perceive, when they're such excellent soldiers?

Is it because one of their kind got a fluke beach-head on a rank over his head, and is striving to pull in others of the same ilk for more support like if an unqualified American wanker gets into top spot will bring in his friends for support even if it means bringing the whole economy down?

Anyway... actually... insolong as the US is capable of growing enough food to feed itself (which it can) and protect itself (which it can)... the whole issue of "bankruptcy" in the US is purely hypothetical. They can always be good polite hillbilly neighbors trading chickens for bacon.

The way it works is this:

1) The US Government offers a Bond, with interest. Pretend said bond is for $100 with 10% interest, therefore $110 gets paid back.

1.1) The Bond is Guaranteed by the productive capacity of the American People. In other words, the Government is saying that if they can't pay the bond, they go into the fields and wring the necks of American farmers and workers until the $110 money is gathered.

2) The US Federal Reserve, privatized under Woodrow Wilson, buys that $100 US bond, and pays for it with $100 printed paper.

2.1) Shareholders of the US Federal Reserve get $110 back for offering paper with $100 printed on it. Somehow the shareholders of the Federal Reserve don't notice they are being paid back with the same funny-money they created. It's so twisted it might only be manageable by putting Lucifer into a cage in the Calgary zoo for him to revitalize ceramic Dinosaurs for a good show while we the humans think. I don't know. I just know it has to be figured out in order for long term survival to happen for the way we get better with each generation if well fed and educated. Betcha didn't know that the secret of Masonic Society is that each human can become a God. Oohhh... must'a been a brain drainer for the 17th Century.

Of course any sentient being with the ability of a Human could figure out the science to become immortal and live forever and expand his power eternally to the extent that some day he might find himself presenting himself as a flickering light in a bush answering a question from some Egypto-runnaway-the-Pharoh-won't-let-met-be-king guy and what would you say?

I was trying to be funny, considering when in the last decade or more when politicians in the US referenced the Canadian Government, they always tried to point out the Socialism we have, such as Universal Health Care, etc.... as if it's a bad thing, when Police Forces, Fire Departments, Schools and the Military are all Socialist systems. (Which they have too)

Basically any time the government has to tax, or if the government hands out money... it's a big scary socialist thing, out to take over the world, rape your wife and eat your children.

For that matter, explain why red looks like Red, green looks like Green, blue looks like Blue, and how all the atoms and molecules in your body are able to enable/cause the subjectively percived phenomena.

When you print money, it causes inflation and paying debts back in, inflated dollars
sometimes helps the problem is the inflation then destroys any value you had before
the treasury went completely nuts.
WE in north America and the world for that matter is really insolvent. We cannot pay
our bills if anything goes wrong. Then there is Europe, and China can't save the world
either. There is a terrible day of reckoning coming
