IN 1903 B.C. got robbed of land north-west of stewart B.C. it is now part of "misty fiords national monument". I propose a modern day land trade in the S.E. alaska region. alaska would give B.C. "misty fiords" from the current portland canal boundary to the mountains just north of the unuk river, it's all easilly accesible from B.C. and would give canadians salmon fishing rights around "misty-fiords" including the unuk river. in return canada would give alaska U.S.A. the tat'-alsek triangular region in the far north-western corner of B.C. easilly accesible from alaska(being north-west of skagway) this would automaticaly turn hyder alaska and stewart B.C. into one canadian town, as should be since hyder folk get their electricity and schooling all in stewart B.C. anyway. if you agree with this proposal don't write me, rather write to the B.C. and canada governments and even alaska to convince them that this is logical and good.

I think next time the Yanks want to run a pipeline through Canada from Alaska we ask for the whole Alaskan panhandle. How we managed to get screwed out of claiming that as a part of Canada I don't know.

Don't sweat it RSK....that whole coastline is about to experience geologic and climactic shift the species of mankind has only ever speculated about as an historic element/period during the last ice age...

Real estate along all shoreline areas is going to be a lot damper in the very near future and tectonic plates adjusting to heavier water (greater concentrations of fresh water) and thermal re-formations that will affect vegitation...and hence increase erosion in previously richly vegitated areas of the planet will evolve to savannahs and semi-arid wastelands....

Brought to you of course by....

You and I!

It sure wasn't the dolphins....

canadians would'nt give a damn if all of B.C. was robbed of land tommorow, they seem to be more informed about middle-eastern land disputes then north-american, closer to home ones.
