I live in James Bay, down by Dallas Road in Victoria. I was at the computer around 1:30 yesterday when the whole building started shaking. Soda in the glass nearly sloshed over. For a few seconds I just kinda held my breath, wondering if this was "the big one", then it stopped and I unloaded my pants.
I went to the earthquake site and it was, apparently, a 3.7 just off the tip of the Island. Did anyone else notice this?? I actually went to the site and filled out the "Did you feel this" survey.

Shell and I were having a laugh ... she says she always wondered why the hell people chose to live in areas where there were earthquakes, tornadoes, etc. Now she gets it. It's worth the risk to be here in paradise, although I confess I was pretty nervous when the earth moved yesterday!
