Well BC is a heavy unionized province and these things happen. I believe they are needed to stand up to the "man" (governments and corperations) who would have people working for nothing, while they rake in the profits.

I have taken many organizing courses, was plant chairman, recording secretary, worked temporairly at the union office and helped organize, I never miss a convention, take courses about diferent union functions, used to do union business one week a month (always ended up in P.G.) I bleed union blood as does my whole family actually, both sides.

Unions built this country. I only wish I could travel back in time and attend the big strike in Winnipeg General Strike, many many years ago. That would be awsome.
