Activist pours urine onto Rebel reporter's head

Outspoken Rebel media reporter Lauren Southern, from Surrey, expected to get wet on a rainy Friday evening when she showed up to an "anti-fascism counter-protest" in front of The Railway Club on Dunsmuir Street in downtown Vancouver.
What she didn’t expect was to get soaked with a bottle of urine.
(Here she is hours before the incident.)
Southern, 20, had stepped into a 25-person strong "counter-protest" to a cancelled event that was supposed to be held by Augustus Sol Invictus, a U.S. Senate hopeful running for the Libertarian party on a platform of less government involvement in people’s lives (he’s also a pagan who drank goat’s blood, among other things.)
The event was cancelled when Invictus couldn’t make it through customs at the Canadian border, and when the Railway Club, which were supposed to hold the event, was made aware of Invictus’ supposed beliefs, presumably by members of Vancouver’s Antifa group (VANANTIFA), which describes itself as “anti-fascist, anti-racist, all the time.”
Invictus spoke a few days earlier in Portland, where members of Rose City Antifa showed up in force, smashing his car and attacking him and one of his supporters.
Long story short, Southern, who’s never backed down from a good debate, began to question the viewpoints of the Vancouver protesters, largely members of Vancouver’s feminist and LGBTQ communities.
Southern, who also ran as a candidate in 2015 for The Libertarian Party of Canada, before having her candidacy suspended for challenging females at Vancouver’s ****Walk event earlier in the summer, argued on Friday against the notion that there is a “rape culture” among Canadian men, and against the idea there are more than two genders.
That’s when things got, well, sticky. (Cut to 10:21 for the urine-soaking incident).
The perpetrator of the attack was briefly held at the scene by those in Southern’s camp, but was eventually let go.
Southern tried to make sense of the incident later on Twitter.
The online reaction to the urine-soaking incident appeared to be two-sided, with some supporting Southern and others telling her she got what she deserved.
Southern later stated she will not pursue charges against the woman who assaulted her.

For people that are so open to other races and culture, it's strange they are so fascist about their own ideas.

Money for bail on assault charge? Cheque.

If someone poured urine on me, I'd make sure they were charged with assault. Bodily fluids are nothing to joke about.

If that person has a disease like Hep, it's aggregated assault.

Yeah, somehow I get the feeling that at least one of those jag-offs doesn't understand what fascism is. And if they do, then talk about irony.

You mean aggravated-aggravated assault.

And local scuttlebutt is that Southern isn't above setting this sort of thing up herself-attention whoar that she is.

That being said she's right about the whole sucking up to sexual weirdos aspect of modern society it's sick to give so much attention to people who are obviously mentally ill.

Don't jump to conclusions, she was probably on her way to the lab with it when she got side tracked! :)

An activist could easily have gone to the washroom with an empty bottle.

I still sympathize with the left, but damn, they need a course in logic 101!

I rember when I'd first joined the NDP in the middle of a Federal election. Though I liked the Reform Party's stance on free trade (based ironically enough on the socialist principle that poorer countries would benefit the most from it), I liked the NDP's pro-UN stance and its favouring a lean military. I also liked its rhetorical support for open immigration and helping poorer Canadians and poorer countries.

My first meeting had completely turned me away from the NDP. I was sitting in a room with 20-somethings my own age listening to their proposals (more like personal wish lists).

I was expecting a conversation on how to help the homeless, the disabled, and other less fortunate Canadians and the poorest countries. Instead, I was listening to middle-to-upper-middle class university students complaining about their bus passes being too expensive and saying how the government needs to subsidize them more.

I'd proposed more funding for trades and professional education for the unemployed, to which I'd got passive agreement and straight back to how the government needs to increase subsidies to university students.

I'd dared propose free trade as a way to help poorer countries and got a verbal tongue-lashing over how that hurts our much better paid unionized workers.

I kept my mouth shut after that, walked out, and thought to myself: if that's what I'll pay my taxes for, I'd just rather the government butt out and I'll give the money to the charity of my choice. That was the beginning of my slow treck towards a form of liberal-conservatism.

is this the Anne Coulter of Canada,
then again I will not flatter her more then she craves,
those rebel reporters are Conservative through and through.
Riiight, meanwhile "piss 'n' pour" is just a prime example of liberal tactics these days, assault and bully anyone who dares to disagree with the narrative they've been force fed. Who'd'a thunk that the leftards of today would turn out to be fascists? Then again, we shouldn't be surprised considering that in Canada, the left has shown a propensity for racism and terrorism, so it's not really a big leap for them to embrace fascism as well.
