A B.C. man filmed his Jaws of Life rescue from car crash wreckage selfie-style and uploaded it to YouTube.
Andrew MacDonald said he blacked out behind the wheel at about 5:30 a.m. on Jan. 11 and crashed into a pole near Duncan, B.C.
When he awoke, he was trapped in his car. He had a broken arm, femur, kneecaps and ankles.
He filmed himself as rescuers used the Jaws of Life to pry him from the wreckage.
"I can't feel my legs, for sure," MacDonald says on the video as the sound of a saw ripping through metal is heard.
MacDonald, who says he wasn't drinking or using drugs when he blacked out, was taken to hospital in Victoria, where he underwent major surgery.
According to the description on his YouTube video, he spent the month in hospital recovering, but there was "only one hot nurse."
