Hiya Everyone,

I am moving to Canada from London, UK.

Could you please suggest the best place in BC to settle down,

as I have a child, I would prefer a place where schools, parks and basic amenities are closeby

Also looking for a great family environment for a better life for my child and us.

Thank you,

P.S: Myself and my hubby work in the IT Sector.

Depends on what you want. Do you want to be near the ocean? If so the island is better than Vancouver area because the cost of living is lower. If you can take the cold then Kamloops or Kelowna are good bets. Good skiing too.

ok.... do you have any idea how big Canada is? How big BC is?

Here's a good example. I live in Saskatchewan (a few provinces east of B.C.).

Two days ago, in Estavan, Sk it was +23.8c while it was -34.5c in Uranium City
in the same province. These towns are in opposite corners (NW vrs SE) of this
province...and the temperature spread was over 58 degrees Celsius (that's over
136 degrees Fahrenheit).

Geographiclly, BC is larger than Saskatchewan by a considerable amount.

Good point. Vancouver Island is nearly as big as England.
