so who else here watched the Season Opener of CSI Las Vegas on Thursday evening??
Being a huge fan of the show and it is now my #1 show with Lost off the air, I have been very excited to see CSI come back and start off with another good show.
So they start off with a quick re-cap of the end of the last season, finally getting the Dr. Jekyll and Hyde Killer. but they lost a Police Officer, and Nick and Ray were attacked. Nick gets shot and then Ray gets stabbed a couple times in the kidneys by that idiot.
they beat the guy up good and they both are sent to the Hospital.
Nick finds the bomb in the Van.. but unfortunately is unable to stop a few more police officers from getting killed in the explosions at the funeral. still that is quite the opening for a season!
they introduce the new girl, the Aussie specialist.. who I have read will eventually have a little romantic interlude with Nick! (btw, anyone know her name on the show???)
So they are trying to find the guy who's making the bombs.. they find that a Cell phone set off the bombs in the grave and on the tombstones.. that was activated by a Model Airplane!
Justin Beiber (ugh) is the guest star.. and his character is part of a nutcase organization that has a problem with the government tracking their moves.. so they all get rid of their ID, credit cards, etc. so that they cannot be traced. just then the CSI and police crash their convention.. of course they dont' wanna be helpful and start a fight with a few of the officers and CSI agents.. who kick ass.
so they don't find any weapons or bomb making supplies .. and Beiber is being questioned as they find out his older brother has been making bombers. Beiber tells them almost everything and says "you better find him because this was just Fireworks compared to what he's gonna do!"
They find him.. and like an idiot he thinks that he can get away with pulling his gun on a bunch of officers who are already aiming at him.. they kill him, search his car and find stuff showing he was going to bomb Police HQ's.
they believe that they have stopped the bombs but when they go search the warehouse they narrowly avoid another bomb that goes off by the floor when they walk on it. IT'S NOT OVER!!
the show ends with Beiber having a snickering face..
This was a pretty good episode! they did a good job of making you keep watching as they have done on many episodes.
I can't wait for the next one.
