I picked up this dvd box set . Three dvd's and seven episodes of the life of John Adams. A motivator of the American independance and the second President of the United States. He played a key roll but wasn't much known for it. This is great historical story and very well made to make you feel there. The dvd has the option of historical side notes as the movie is playing .
There seems to be no fluff as the bickering and conflicts of the American movement wasn't so clean as we may have read in history books.
This was a pleasent surprise as i took a chance in buying this box set not knowing anything of it before hand.
Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney were exceptional in thier rolls.
