I think you're getting slightly confused between Martin Clunes' ITV Secret Life of... series, of which the 2014 episode Secret Life of Cats was a part, and the BBC Horizon episode The Secret Life of the Cat.

Also included in Clunes' Secret Life of... series are Secret Life of Dogs and Secret Life of Babies.
