Fred Willard pulls his Pee Wee Herman

Cops caught Fred Willard with his pants down.

The beloved comedic actor was busted for allegedly servicing himself in an adult movie theater last night in Los Angeles, according to published reports.

LAPD cops on a random walk-through spotted Willard, 78, with his pants down and ***** in hand at the Tiki Theater at 8:45 p.m., TMZ reported.

Willard was booked for lewd conduct for his alleged Pee-Wee Herman act and quickly released.

The theater has three movies in its current rotation -- "Follow Me 2," a XXX parody of "The Client List," and "Step Dad No. 2,” TMZ said.

The veteran TV and movie funny man is best known for “Best in Show, “ “For Your Consideration” and “Everybody Loves Raymond.”

According to IMDB.com, Willard’s next movie will be “The Yank,” about an American looking for love in Ireland.

A rep for Willard could not be immediately reached for comment this morning.

- I always felt that comic actor Fred Willard jumped the sharp in his final year as the hilariously loud and stupid salesman Herb Tarlick on WKRP In Cincinnati in the 1980s.

- Walter ... I hope you never have a senior's moment and sometimes do have a moment that demonstrates a sense of humour. Yes, I confused Willard and Bonner who look or looked very similar and are around the same age and tend tp play similarly weaselly characters with a deft comic touch. So sue me. You get what you pay for.

Just a thought, but if Willard was found alone, as has been reported, how can he be guilty of a lewd act if there was no one around to watch it other than the cop who spotted him? Why didn't the cops save the taxpayers some money and simply tell him to put his ***** away and go home?

Dude is 78 & can still pull his pud successfully. Shouldn't he have
gotten a pat on the back (the back should be cleanish), and told to
go home and get the Interwebs thing hooked up, and some curtains,
to avoid....

Looks like he at least tried to dress to blend into the background in someplace
called the Tiki Theatre, I guess.
