I have the DVD of her in concert with david foster, and she is unbelievable.
Sings effortlessly and beautifully, we will enjoy her for many years. They have
been showing her concert on PBS, and i'm sure it will be on again a few times during
the Xmas season.
Jackie is eleven.
The young fellow who plays the piano and the violin during that concert is also remarkable.

Jackie first came to my attention last year when she was on America Has Talent as part of their You Tube auditions - she blew everyone on the panel and the audience away. I have since heard her sing many times and did see her concert with David Foster. She is a remarkable young talent.

Perhaps a future Sarah Brightman if we are lucky. I really enjoy the operatic style of singing, and it just so happens that Brightman is Evancho's idol. I would much rather listen to the beauty of Evancho's voice than I would to any of the overblown pop divas.

Odd-very odd-I hope she can conserve her voice for later in life as she does seem to be struggling with certain notes-and that head waggling?

Operatic singing is all about voice control and breathing. Evancho is a child with an adult singing voice. Eventually she should grow into it, and I understand she is taking lessons from voice professionals.
