KD Lang sings Leonard Cohen39s Hallelujah - YouTube

Who else could walk out wearing a housecoat and bare feet and get
the standing ovation that she got..... Not many....I think...

She was a very vocal vegetarian. Maybe she was on the Gladiator diet?
From: --

Compared to the average inhabitant of Ephesus, gladiators ate more plants
and very little animal protein. The vegetarian diet had nothing to do with poverty
or animal rights.

Gladiators, it seems, were fat. Consuming a lot of simple carbohydrates, such
as barley, and legumes, like beans, was designed for survival in the arena.
Packing in the carbs also packed on the pounds. "Gladiators needed
subcutaneous fat," Grossschmidt explains. "A fat cushion protects
you from cut wounds and shields nerves and blood vessels in a fight."

Not only would a lean gladiator have been dead meat, he would have made for
a bad show. Surface wounds "look more spectacular," says Grossschmidt.
"If I get wounded but just in the fatty layer, I can fight on," he adds. "It doesn't hurt
much, and it looks great for the spectators."

like most of us........she is aging. With that phase of life , the body changes. Her apparel does not accentuate her figure but makes it more full. Again......it is her TALENT that matters .

She recently did a duo with Tony Bennet and it is fantastic.
*****

but as per title..........such good memories here on the Sea to Sky region when the Olympics took place . A true celebration -internationale, with loads of fun.Superb skills and talent .....Even some notable folks in attendance. A friend sat in close range of Prince Albert of Monaco. Meeting folks from all over the world was a huge part of this event.
