Happy 75th birthday to CBC radio 2

Gordon Lightfoot, Joni Mitchell and Anne Murray are just some of the artist's nominated for being the all time best Canadian artist since the 1930's. Turn on the radio and apparently it's not too late to call in your vote. Beginning at noon today, they will play the best of each decade starting with the 30's for one hour, then the 40's at 1pm, the 50's at 2pm and so on.

I wonder if you'd feel the same if you lived in the far north and all there was to
listen to was CBC? Did you know that CBC broadcasts in English and French
plus 8 or 9 aboriginal languages?
