Canadian series "Combat Hospital" on ABC

I tuned this one in because there's nothing much on TV -- and it looked promising. The one thing that annoyed and puzzled me was the fact that everyone had this strange, subtle accent. Soon, it became evident that it was a Canadian medical drama (probably a series)
on the order of a serious "Mash."

Have you seen it? I enjoyed it, but I laughed over the silly cross-marketing attempts to draw in American viewers. Who paints USA on their wood fence? IMHO, it would be better to hire 1-2 well-known American actors to cross-market.

But, I do hope more Canadian series are put on American mainstream TV - it benefits us both.

I found it a bit odd too but for a Canadian series to get on mainstream TV in the US those are the kinds of things they usually do.

It a US show where Canadians actually exist.
