I am new to this site, and looking for some advice. I lived in Calgary as an older child till 18, then spent nearly 20 years in England. Moved back to Winnipeg a year and a half ago, but am unhappy here, and much prefer life in Alberta compared to Winnipeg. I wish to move to Cochrane to be nearer family, and was wondering if anyone has any advice for someone wishing to move with kids to Cochrane? I am very interested in getting them involved in Brownies/Beavers, and some soccer too. I am currently studying to become an Educational Assistant and looking to start work in the Cochrane school division area soon. Does anyone have any advice about family life in Cochrane, renting in the area, what living in Cochrane is like (are there some less desirable areas?). It's been a long time since I have lived in Alberta, and have never lived in Cochrane so any advice greatly appreciated! Thanks, MJ.
