ok all this smoke in the City and around it from those damn fires!

I see you're in Spruce Grove Chiliagon - I'm in North Edmonton and it's pretty bad here too - just had a text from a friend who's working in the Telus building downtown - she can't even see across the river. If it's this bad here I can't imagine how bad it is where the fires are. I wonder how far east this smoke-smog has spread? I feel bad for people with respiratory troubles - this is awful!

We have fires in S. California every year

Our home made protection is a supply of pretty nice men's handkerchiefs which have ties on two sides.
They make great filters over the mouth and nose if wet down a bit and they can be washed regularly.

Not too glam but neither is choking. Take care of yourselves up there....

It would smell a whole lot better if the occasional pot field went up in smoke. LOL

I live down by Medicine Hat. The haze just rolled in about 6:00 tonight....made it hard to see the golf ball on those long drives.
