A few months ago there was an add posted by " Westfair Foods Ltd/ superstore, looking to hire workers in the east coast to fill positions.Travel and accomodations were included.

Are there any other companies looking for workers in Alberta who pay airfare out there and also help with accomodations.

Thank You.

I think some oil companies in Fort McMurray pay for airfare and accomodation.

Trades..trades ...trades. Pick one.

But pretty much, if you come out here, the choice of any job is yours.

I only have Computer and general labor skills.
Are Companies in Edmonton or Fort McMurray for example open to on the job training, and do they hire workers that are generally unskilled and what level of salary can they expect.
I have heard that some have gone out to Fort McMurray and gotten jobs as Pipe Layers with little or no experience.

Any personal experiences negative or positive you can share with us.

Thx.

When Tim Hortons is paying $14.00/hour,you can be sure labour in Alberta is in short supply.
However, be aware that housing is also in short supply...a single room can run you $800.00/month...with two people in it the charge doubles !!!!
