Your thoughts on the future of Sino-Canadian relations?

I'm a French Canadian sinophile currently living in China and so am naturally interested in knowing how most Canadians might think about the subject? I've already noticed since joining this forum that I seem to be a little out of touch with the way Canadians in Canada think as is; I suppose I've changed more than I realised in the last three years in my beloved China.

Your thoughts on the subject?

I think Canada and China will do a lot of trade; historically, we have some strong ties. I think that the relationship will grow stronger over the years.

(Then Canada can be squeezed between the only two superpowers in the world - the US and China....)
