I can't recommend this movie enough. TheYoung at Heart movie trailer gives an idea of the movie, but imo it doesn't do it justice at all - it's far too 'polished' to properly represent this documentary.
Young at Heart is a surprising, uplifting and poignant inside view of a senior's choir group for several weeks leading up to a performance - sharing with us alternately the often painful realities of aging and the hilarity that can be found in the frailest of human moments.
These are not by any stretch professional singers or actors - they're our mothers, uncles, grandparents - and ultimately, they're us.
This is so worth the price of a movie rental.
