Woman loses in court after losing lottery

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - A Dutch woman has lost her compensation claim for mental distress she suffered from missing out when her neighbors won a lottery windfall.

No surprise she lost the case since there didn't appear to be much at issue. However, I can feel for her. That lottery practise is a bit slimey.

Why, didn't she know? Suffering is supposed to build character.

I don't actually believe that but some do. Maybe they should let her know how much better off she is today!
