ROSE HAS WINE NOSE
A ROSE that smells just like a wine goes on sale in the UK this summer.
The Fetzer Syrah Rose came into being after TV wine expert Jilly Goolden hosted a rose and wine "nosing" session at Hampton Court Palace Flower Show last year.
Simon Legge, of Fetzer Vineyards, said the rose reflects the raspberry and strawberry in the dry rosŽ wine. He said: "We're delighted with the exceptionally fragrant flower."
Experts predicted wine and gardening fans would snap up the rose by growers Harkness when it is launched at Chelsea Flower Show in May.
