Gold specifically as that is what is considered to be the best form of money. The money-changes mentioned in the Gospels escaped with all the gold. What do you think they did after that?? I'm thinking they didn't call it a day and retired. I'm quite sure they were behind the Vatican not starting up a Christian bank based on interest free loans to all Gentiles. That very form of money made it into the pockets of Jewish bankers after that and today they are trillionaires and the people that use their money are poorer than church mice.
I refuted your ------ (hint: the Romans found not a gram of gold left in the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem) ---- by giving you a link that showed gold artifacts that the Roman socked from the Jewish temples.
