Why can't we buy music videos?

Why can't we buy music videos? Will the new Apple gizmo do this?

We see videos on TV, yet where is the web site that permits us to buy the videos that we want to buy? The technology exists to set up a web site, and let consumers pick the videos they want, download them onto a 60 or 120 minute tape, pay for it with money, and then have it shipped to the consumer's house.

I might buy a whole video with one song repeated twenty times.

This is so easy, and everybody wins, yet the music industry does not do it. Why?

Thats a real good question, as I would rather buy videos than the songs myself.

Yes, yes yes. We should be able to pick and pay for the videos we want and download them on a tape and play them on a VCR. Everyone makes more money and consumers buy a product they like. What is stopping this? All the technology exists.
