I think STeven Harper will be elected as next PM I am not going to go into to much detail why since I have three posts regarding Harper, but I am strongly with National Defense and BMD and banning same sex marrage.

RE: Who do you think shou

Harper's pro-Bush policies would endanger us, not make us safer. BMD doesn't work and would make us a laughingstock internationally. Your opposition to same-sex marriage is just an exhibition of homophobia and bigotry.

Jack Layton.

I think it is time for the NDP to be elected Federally. Both the Libs and Conservatives are corrupt to the core. There is really no alternative.

Libs and Conservatives have had their chances over the years, so I think people should give NDP a chance.

What about Saskatchewan and Manitoba, MMMike? They have a record of sound fiscal management here, better than the Conservatives.

I would agree with that.

If you don't mind me asking, Judland...which riding are you in? There were a few that the NDP lost in Saskatchewan last time around because of Liberal scare tactics.

MMMike said:
Yeah, the NDP has done great in B.C. & Ontario. These clowns couldn't run a hotdog stand.

Why did the conservatives/social credit (same thing) change their names in BC and Sask? That Filmon they had in Manitoba, was worse than Glen Clark and Bob Rae combined. Filmon was a lame duck if there ever was one. I remember him as I was living there when he got in the first time with a one seat majority and Carstairs was opposition leader. But Doer just came on the scene then and I knew he would be a good leader someday and he is.

Not to mention the last couple of Conservative leaders Mike Harris and Ernie Eves they had in Ontario. They were a pair of useless premiers. They were not liked by the people very much either.

Harris was great in his first couple of terms. Eves was a big flop, good riddance he's gone. The only people who didn't like Harris was the union rabble who he dared stand up against.

Besides, look at the new Conservative leader - John Tory. This guy is a progressive conservative in the true sense of the term. He gets it on cities, and he is a class act. He helped eliminate the campaign debts of his competitors in the Toronto mayoral race, even after he was edged out by David Miller.

They tried to paint Eves as a moderate too, MMMikey. Anger at Harris got him turfed out in a hurry though...he was closely identified with radical right.

I am sorry if i hate these guys it's just that im a christian and my religion says that a man in a woman should be married not a man and a man or a woman and a woman. I am also sure that most christians like me would vote for the conservitive party so I am not the only one that is supporting them also if you look a few people in this strand will vote for harper.

Let's do this one clause at a time. I'd do it one sentence at a time, but our young friend seems to have eschewed to conventions of the English language.

I am sorry if i hate these guys it's just that im a christian

You better read that big book up on the shelf. Pay particular attention to the part called the New Testament...it's the part about the dude you named your religion after.

and my religion says that a man in a woman

Biology suggests that a man in a woman is performing coitus.

should be married not a man and a man or a woman and a woman.

Where does it say that in the New Testament? I've been through it fairly carefully and at no time does Jesus mention homosexuality.

I am also sure that most christians like me would vote for the conservitive party

That's one of the major problems with the party. Separation of church and state is very important.

so I am not the only one that is supporting them also if you look a few people in this strand will vote for harper.

A lot aren't.

hey reverend, how is anti homosexual comments bigotry

Discriminating against somebody because of their sexual orientation is bigotry.

doesnt steven harper want them all off the street?

He likely does, although I can't recall him being that honest about it. Thanks for proving my point though.

He will win since hes the only guy who is christian enough to ban this nonsesne.

If he tries he'll lose. What he wants to do is unconstitutional.

honestly do you want to see are country full of gays and lesbians walkign hand in hand down the street poisoning this country,

They are free to do that right now. Here's something you should think about. Think of the unmarried couples you know. They tend to hold hands and cuddle and play tongue hockey at inappropriate times, don't they? Now think of the married couples. They aren't prone to those things nearly as much are they? If you don't want to see gays and lesbians holding hands and kissing, then you should be encouraging them to get married.

ok one thing, youmay not beleive this becuase you may not be christian like I am but when Jesus comes like revelations says he will does he honestly want gays and lesbians around it does say that in the bible as well as how he destryed the temple becuase of all the prostitutes and woman and men commiting un christian sexual acts.

I know what bigotry means but id rather call what i said about homosexuality an oppinion.

and it cant be un constitutional if bush has not passed a bill making gays and lesbians allowed to get married, yes i dotn care if they sit there making out on the street but church's who do not beleive in this stuff should not have to marry these couples.
