Anyone seen "White Noise" with Michael Keaton? Very cool show! I'm a scary movie freak ... love em! Kind of interesting since it's based on a real technique used by ghost hunters.

We also watched "National Treasure" which was a good romp, as was "In Good Company". As you can tell, I am a total lightweight when it comes to movies. I leave the serious viewing to Peapod and my chick Shell. ;) If it's got more depth than a saltine cracker --- or gawd forbid, subtitles!! --- I'm generally not interested. Escapism, I say! ;)

I saw it. Was not as good as I thought. But was still ok.

I also saw Ladder 49 recently and that was good. I also liked National Treasure, The Jacket was pretty good too and Assualt on Precinct 13 was good too as Larry Fishburne carried that movie.

You are kidding us? A 'real' technique as opposed to what?

I 'saw SAW'. It was good. The ending was a surprise. another one word title movie we liked was 'Noise'.

To be honest, however, we haven't rented many movies in the last couple months. The box stores have a lot of inexpensive collectioins for sale. We bought 12 Film Noire movies for $5 and they are all good (so far). We also bought a set of 1930's detective movies and a set of 50's 'B' Teen movies... so far all a hoot. We have a set of 'Mysteries' we haven't opened yet.

These older sets are surprisingly good. The plots are good and even a so-so movie is a gem because the period setting...I keep expecting a fellow to be staring at his computer on his desk when it's actually an intercom...or speak into a cell phone when he's actually holding a shaving brush.

Ummmm ... an unreal technique??? I'm not sure what the question is. :?: I suspect your tastes in movies is much more high brow than mine. I like simple, easy to follow, good guy/bad guy, killer movies.

I've already watched Saw ... LOVED it! Got to admire the twisted mind that conceived that one!

Agree about Precinct 13 ... Fishburne is the ultimate in cool. 8)

I was so-so about White Noise - 5 out of 10. Saw "The Pacifier," and it petered out at the end. At first, vin was pretty convincing, but it was almost like he ran out of steam at the end.

"Hitch" was my fav though recently - saw it twice. I just like Will Smith. Can't help myself.

I saw that movie a week ago...I loved it, exept for the ending...that part was pretty cheezy....otherwise though, good movie.

I saw Troy on the weekend....I had heard bad things about it, so I put off watching it....I thought it was a great movie.
